Rise<\/strong> is an ensemble of seventeen ephemeral sculptures occupying the island of Domaine de Chamarande. Structural and geometric, these architectural forms refer to the Mesoamerican ruins and models, and explore the areas of the island and the forest as utopian places for retreat and resistance to a built, mapped and normalized environment.
\nRise<\/strong> deliberately plays with the uncertain status of these forms attached to trees.
\nDwellings or sculptures tracing a path with the ropes, that connect each objects or treehut, Rise increases the imaginary of a landscape and creates a poetic space to question the notion of protesting.
\nRise<\/strong> is also developed as an installation consisting of drawings, photographs, watercolors and texts for an extensive reading.<\/p>\n
