Eyma

Eyma engages an investigation of the concept of nature through photographs, video, sound and writing.
It is an attempt to express this notion of «nature», not as a constructed concept, neither as a landscape but rather as an environment, an audiovisual ensemble made of patterns, living processes and cycles.
These works get away from an antagonistic debate about the effects of anthropomorphism, or from the dichotomous perception that the human eye and the techniques of post-production would limit our artistic representation of what has been conceptualized as nature.
Within this ensemble of a multiplicity of living organisms, these works constitute sonic and visual interventions, sharing and expressing these complex processes made of motion, colors, forms and sounds.
